There are a few simple things you’ll need to know before you order:

When ordering a voiceover, ask yourself whether you need me to do any precision timing in my voiceover work.

Precision timing is whenever I have to record within certain time constraints in the script.

Examples of precision timing include:

• delivering a recording of a precise time length (like “under 15 seconds,” “30 seconds,” “exactly 53 seconds,” etc.)
• recording within scripted timecodes
• synching my voice to a video
• dubbing my voice over another person’s voice in a video
• lipsynching to a video

Precision timing is advanced voiceover work that takes a bit more time and work to deliver, and thus costs more.

If you don’t need precision timing, you simply need a “Standard Voiceover.”

Next, consider where you’ll use my voice.

For example: Will the recording be broadcast on radio? TV? online? Will it be for internal use? for personal use?

You’ll need to know upfront how you plan to use the recording in order to buy the appropriate usage rights.

Lastly, decide how soon you need me to deliver.

I offer a range of delivery times, from 4 hours to 5 days on shorter recordings.

I deliver most orders within 2-3 days. Larger scripts may take more time. Long-form narration like audiobooks can take days to weeks depending on their length and my availability.
